How do you see the full-circle nature of life in your own experiences with aging and your relationship with your parents or caregivers?
How do you interpret the command to honor your father and mother as addressed to adult children, and why do you think it’s significant?
How does your faith in Jesus shape how you care for your parents or elders in your life, especially as they age?
In what ways can parents (both biological and spiritual) ensure they are not embittering their children, as Paul warns in Colossians 3:21?
What might it look like for you to soften your edges and strengthen your tenderness in your relationships with others, particularly within your family? How does practicing healthy boundaries influence your process?

Live it out
Write a prayer to God asking for his guidance, his wisdom and his influence in the way you relate to your parents and to your kids, as is applicable for you. Surrender your concerns at his feet while also asking to see your kids & parents through his eyes and not your own.
